UAE telecom operator du and Viafone Technologies have joined forces to improve customer services with a loyalty platform.

The partnership, which is in line with Dubai Future Accelerators (DFA), aims to encourage the creation of digital products that are convenient to use, as well as drive customer loyalty. The app will enable customers to interact, make decisions and control their experiences with all vendors in one place.

Samer Geissah, vice president, Innovation at du, said: "Our association with the Dubai Future Accelerators gives us the agility to bring innovative solutions to our customers today. We believe that this platform needs guidance towards unification as loyalty will move forward to a centralised carrier centric system, where user's mobile and identity will play a key role in loyalty systems."

Viafone, over the course of the next few weeks, will utilise its proven experience in market in conjunction with its technology and loyalty solutions, to develop an interactive loyalty proposition for du and its customers, with the goal to improve the company's customer experience and value proposition.
