Metra Computer Group acquires a stake in StorIT Distribution Eissa says the Metra Group is anticipating tremendous growth translating into $50m to its topline in 2018.

Egypt headquartered Metra Computer Group, recently acquired shares and entered into a strategic financing agreement with StorIT Distribution, a regional value-added distributor for Dell EMC and other major technology vendors in the UAE.

This partnership is an excellent addition to Metra Computer´s expanding value-added distribution portfolio and showcases greater commitment for the Dell EMC channel ecosystem.

In addition, the two companies said the strategic partnership is beneficial for both organisations as it aims to enhance their market position by combining the strengths and value propositions from PC to cloud, giving partners the benefit of being able to select wide range of technology solution that best meets their customer needs.

Through this acquisition, partners can now leverage offerings across the widespread range of solutions and vendor portfolio for converged infrastructure, cloud computing, virtualisation, business continuity and disaster recovery, high performance computing, archiving, data analytics and data centre solutions for enterprise and SMB markets.
