Guinness memory record breaker headlines Toshiba roadshow Thomas enthralled participants as with his amazing memory prowess.

Toshiba has launched a Roadshow Series on the theme of harnessing the power of memory as part of a campaign to showcase its portfolio of digital storage products and solutions.

“Mastering the Memory Series,” a novel initiative by Toshiba Gulf FZE, features the world renowned Memory Master David Thomas --- a Sunday Time’s best-selling author --- as the star attraction.

The first in the Memory Series, rolled out at Dubai International Academic City on Monday, enthralled participants as the memory maestro demonstrated his amazing prowess.

“David’s masterclass is a riveting experience. It simply but effectively teaches us how to improve memory by discovering new ways to upgrade memory skills, which is especially useful in an information-driven society where good memory can be a strong advantage. Memory skills help us become more organized while enhancing our learning abilities,” said Santosh Varghese, general manager, Toshiba Middle East and Africa.

The maestro’s training sessions normally record an 80% increase in memory retention rates of participants. “Toshiba wants more people to rediscover the art of harnessing the power of memory. The roadshow will now be held in South Africa and Saudi Arabia --- on 12th and 13th October in Johannesburg and 17th October in Cape town, and 24th October in Jeddah,” said Varghese.

David, who has successfully harnessed his inimitable brain power to become a sought-after motivational speaker, a memory master and a media personality,  has spoken in 21 countries, been in the media more than 500 times and appeared on televisions across 150 countries over the past 20 years.

“We are excited about this fascinating skilling initiative. As Toshiba is a leading brand in storage products and solutions, we want to link the human side of memory management with our memory product portfolio. The whole range of Toshiba storage products has been designed to enhance the storage capacities to meet with the fast growing demand for storage space, estimated to be 160 Zettabytes by 2025, driven by an exponential growth in IoT devices and content creations due to the influx of social media,” said Varghese.

In today’s world where our memories are stored as digital documents, photos and videos, Toshiba users can store their precious memories on Toshiba storage devices,” he said.
