Atlassian, a Netherlands-based producer of collaboration software and services, is keen to bring its own type of collaboration tools to a wider market at GITEX Technology Week.

The company offers various solutions such as Confluence (document collaboration), Jira Service Desk (IT service desk and customer service), Bitbucket (Bit code management) and Stride, its latest offering for team communications.

The company's newest product is a chat solution, which it launched just a few weeks ago as part of its collaboration suite. This product allows users to send messages, files and pictures and also connect their work with Atlassian's Jira platform. Users can also connect their work with the Confluence content collaboration platform. The aim is to integrate various aspects of collaboration in one solution, according to Vlad Cavalcanti, channel manager EMEA South, Atlassian.

"Our focus as a company is to enable teams to be more productive, more collaborative and happier in what they do. We believe that behind every great human achievement, there's not one person, but a team. We believe that enabling these teams to better collaborate, better work together is the way going forward," Cavalcanti adds.

"The challenge for many companies is that they have geographically diversified teams with different time zones, different cultures, and different phases of the project. With our platform we try to unite that and mitigate those barriers. We believe that listening to the creative comments of every team member is the way to move forward and I think the market is getting there."
