Moodfit is an online interior design platform that connects the client with professional interior designers to help them decorate their home or office for US$300, and its targeting the UAE market through GITEX Future Stars at GITEX Technology Week 2017.

"What we're doing at GITEX is aiming to get more exposure for our platform ahead of our expansion into the UAE market," he adds. The Moodfit process is very simple, when a user starts a project they're asked for fill out a design questionnaire to test the design tastes and decorating preferences of the client.

"So you swipe left or right based on whether you like or don't like a particular design element that is shown and then you will be matched with three interior designers that are the best fit for your preferences," explains Jaroudi. The client then select one of them based on their portfolio and pays the $300 fee.

"The next step is to upload pictures and dimensions of your space, along with any ‘inspiration images' you may have of particular design elements that you like. Then in the first week of your interaction with the designer they'll provide three basic designs, which will then be fine tuned during the following week until a favourite is selected," says Jaroudi.

All the pieces in the design are based on actual furniture, curtains, decorations and so on that are available for sale in the same city as the client, so shipping is quicker and easier. A collage is created and Handiss tells the client each items cost, according to their budget, with the option to have it delivered via Handiss.
