WD unveils myWD Certified Surveillance Storage Provider Programme in UAE Saifuddin says the programme is aimed at helping the ever expanding partner base.

Storage solutions vendor, Western Digital, has launched the Surveillance Storage Certified Surveillance Reseller Programme in the UAE.

According to the vendor, the programme is designed to offer a comprehensive lineup of benefits for the security and surveillance channel providers.

Dubbed myWD Certified Surveillance Storage Provider Programme, the scheme is a tailor-made initiative that aims to offer training, sales support, value added benefits and incentives to security and surveillance system integrators, installers, solution and service providers to help them enhance their business opportunities and profitability.

"We consider our partners at all tiers to be equally important for our success. To ensure that the installers and system integrators working in the security & surveillance sector get trained on the latest technologies, get certified and stay updated, we today launch the myWD Certified Surveillance Storage Provider Programme," said Khwaja Saifuddin, senior sales director, Middle East, Africa and India, Western Digital.

"The myWD Certified Surveillance Storage Provider Programme will offer our partners the opportunity to capitalise on the wide-range of WD Purple and WD Purple NV surveillance storage solutions, engineered for 24/7 always-on, high-definition surveillance systems."

Saifuddin said with so many new opportunities emerging in the security and surveillance industry, the programme is aimed at helping the ever expanding partner base effectively tap into the growing market for video surveillance storage. "We want to extend world class products, service and support to ensure their customer objectives are effectively delivered on," he said. "The programme is designed to extend channel partners the industry-relevant education, sales and marketing support to drive their business in this rapidly growing market."

Eligible partners will be provided in-depth product training to receive a WD Surveillance Storage Provider Programme certificate. In addition, partners will have access to sales support through a dedicated account manager from Western Digital, exclusive member promotions, regular product updates in addition to in-store POS marketing material.
