The Information Technology Authority (ITA) has marked the graduation of the second batch of government IT professionals from IT Rangers Program.

Four participants completed the course to qualify as Microsoft SQL Server database analysts. The IT Rangers program is part of Oman's Microsoft License Agreement for Government 2015-2018, which provides software and other benefits to government organisations.

The training was provided by Exceed IT Services in Abu Dhabi.

Skills covered by the course included managing, developing and analyzing databases, writing queries and operating databases in live environments. Trainees also worked on test analyses of several company databases.

The new batch brings the number of IT Ranger graduates to 12. A graduation ceremony was held at the Sas Centre for Mobile Apps Development in Muscat.
