Logistics and transportation provider Aramex has developed its own artificial intelligence-enabled Chatbot to ease customer queries in the Middle East.

The Aramex Bot which is linked to Facebook Messenger is designed to personalise conversations with customers who need assistance with Aramex's offerings.

Using the AI service customers can find the nearest Aramex locations, track shipments and share preferred delivery location. Additionally customers are able to schedule a delivery for personalised shipments and e-commerce packages.

To the use the service, customers are requested to search for Aramex Bot within their Facebook Messenger accounts, where they will be able to speak to a bot in English or Arabic. Once the conversation has been completed, users can rate the service.

The service is available 24/7 and the bot will include more features and other languages in the future.

Aramex continues to enhance its customer service and experience capabilities. Last year the company launched a mobile app which offers customer package visibility and tracking, in-app payment, delivery scheduling, and a courier rating system.
