Colt, Equinix to deliver secure cloud service to enterprises Joint partnership delivers secure, high bandwidth connectivity to cloud services on demand.

Colt Technology Services and Equinix have entered into a partnership that will see enterprises benefit from secure, high bandwidth connectivity to cloud services.

Under the partnership, enterprises will be able to interconnect the Colt IQ Network with Equinix's cloud ecosystem. Colt customers will benefit from high-bandwidth connectivity to Equinix's global platform of data centres, enabling information-intensive enterprises to incorporate cloud offerings.

Equinix customers will also be able to take advantage from the ‘On Demand' connectivity services based on the Colt IQ Network, which is a pay-as-you-go feature within Equinix data centres in Europe.

Customers can provision and scale bandwidth requirements up and down in near real time, and also gain access to connectivity from enterprise buildings to the cloud through Colt's Dedicated Cloud Access.
