Expo 2020 Dubai, Accenture partner to drive digital experience Accenture will work closely with Etisalat Digital, the business unit of the international telecoms and technology service provider Etisalat.

Expo 2020 Dubai has appointed Accenture to ensure that World Expo is an engaging digital experience through fast, smart connectivity.

Under the partnership, Accenture will design, build and run solutions in varied areas, including virtual assistance, business intelligence and analytics, mobile applications and technologies to support the millions of expected visitors.

Accenture will work closely with Etisalat Digital, the business unit of the international telecoms and technology service provider Etisalat.

The two companies will explore ways to enhance the Expo experience through digital initiatives, such as offering visitors a virtual assistant to guide them around the Expo. Additionally, Accenture and Etisalat Digital will evolve their offerings by helping participants and partner companies analyse their visitors.

More than 180 countries are expected to participate and up to 60,000 visitors every hour, Accenture's role will be critical to ensuring that the Expo experience is digitally enhanced.

The partnership deal with Accenture was signed by H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Expo 2020 Dubai Higher Committee, and Gerardo Canta, Accenture's Communications, Media and Technology lead for the Middle East, Africa, Russia and Turkey.
