Huawei unveils special edition red KFC smartphone  Colonel Sanders is laser-etched on the back of the Huawei Enjoy 7 Plus.

KFC has turned 30 in China and to mark the anniversary, Huawei has launched a ‘finger-lickin' good' KFC-branded smartphone.

The red KFC smartphone is Huawei's Enjoy 7 Plus, a mid-range phone that features a 5.5-inch 720p display, along with a Snapdragon 435 SoC a 12-megapixel camera, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. On the back of the device is a fingerprint sensor, along with a laser-etched Colonel Sanders logo.

The Huawei Enjoy 7 Plus is a mid-range smartphone that is available in selected markets, however only 5,000 units of the special edition phone will be manufactured.

KFC announced the details on Chinese microblogging website Weibo, where it revealed that the phone comes with a music app, allowing the user to share their playlists in a KFC restaurant. The handset also comes with 10,000 ‘K dollars' a digital currency used by KFC in China.

The popular fried chicken eatery began in the US, however not only is it the largest chain in China but it is also known as a power foreign brand in the country.

The only way to get hold of the ‘finger-lickin' good' KFC Huawei smartphone, you'll have to go to China.
