HP Sprocket is designed to bring back the fun of printed photos, enables users to print their favourite memories which can be taken from either the smartphones photo library or social media accounts, and directly from their smartphone or tablet from any location.

Along with the portable printer, users will need to download the HP Sprocket App, which is free on iOS and Android. The app allows users to customise their photos with text, stickers and filters.

The HP Sprocket connects to the smartphone via Bluetooth or NFC, and prints pictures on 5x7.7cm smudge-proof, water-resistant and tear-resistant photo paper. The paper also has a peel-and-stick back enabling users to stick images anywhere.

The paper itself is Zink paper, this means no ink is required as Zink technology relies on heat to show the colour on the paper.

The HP Sprocket is available in white with gold accents for AED 499, and comes with 10-pack of HP Zink photo paper. Separate packs of the paper (50 sheets) is available for AED 79. Both are exclusively available at Sharaf DG.
