Data Hub Integrated Solutions (MORO), a DEWA subsidiary, has joined forces with Dell to introduce innovative applications and digital services in Dubai.

Under the signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), both companies will enhance an array of areas, such as cloud computing, e-security, automated learning (artificial intelligence), big data and analytics, storage, backup and archiving services. As well as the technical infrastructure for the public and private sectors and service providers.

The MoU was signed by Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD and CEO of DEWA, and Mohammed Amin, senior vice president at Dell EMC, Middle East, Turkey and Africa.

DEWA's Saeed Al Tayer said: "MORO, headquartered in Dubai, provides integrated solutions to the public and private sectors through advanced smart technologies that deliver world-class services to citizens, residents and visitors in Dubai."

"The coordination between forward-thinking local organisations and globally-experienced technology firms is the foundation on which the UAE's National Innovation Strategy will be built. We are proud to collaborate with MORO on this long-term initiative, and believe that this will play a key role in establishing the UAE as one of the most innovative countries in the world. We envision a strong working relationship with mutual success and growth at the back of this partnership," added Dell EMC's Mohammed Amin.
