Instagram has rolled out Archive, a feature that enables users to hide their posts either permanently or indefinitely.

To archive a photo or video, users will need to select the ‘...' three-dot option in the top right corner of the post and then select ‘archive'. From this, the posts will move into a dedicated section which is at the top right corner of the user's profile.

The archived posts are only visible to the profile owner and only they can unarchive by selecting ‘Show on Profile' it where it will reappear on the profile.

These updates are available as part of Instagram version 10.21 and above for iOS in the Apple App Store and for Android in Google Play.
