WhatsApp has rolled out an iOS update which sees a host of new visual features.

The update include new photo filters, automatic albums capabilities within chats and the tool to respond to individual messages faster.

The Facebook-owned messaging service has added a photo filter option which lets users apply filters to photos, videos or GIFs before they send it. WhatsApp has included five options; Pop, B&W, Cool, Chrome and Film.

The update also allows users to send multiple images and videos but within an album instead as separate messages.

The third new feature lets users swipe right on a message and respond to it, whether in an individual or group chat.

The update is only available on iOS, no Android update has yet been confirmed.
