Last year Apple announced it was on the hunt to find app developers to star in an unscripted reality TV show. Well that show has finally launched.

Dubbed the Planet of the Apps, the show is centred on app developers giving them a platform to share their stories and the journey of creating apps. The first episode shows the app developers trying to impress a panel of entrepreneurs, including Jessica Alba and Gwyneth Paltrow, musician will.i.am, and Gary Vaynerchuk.

The panel will assess the app development and if they are interested, the apps will be funded.

The first episode was aired on Apple Music and iTunes for everyone, however the following episodes will only be available to Apple Music subscribers.

The Planet of the App trailer is available here.
