HP launches A3 printers in the UAE
Marketed as an advanced and secure printer, the new design tackles a number of security threats surrounding printers.
HP Inc., a global provider of printing technologies, recently announced the launch of its A3 multifunction printers (MFPs) in the UAE.
Commenting on the launch, Stephane Rogier, head of Print Business unit, HP Inc, shared: "We set out to offer our partners a robust portfolio of A3 MFPs with disruptive technologies and a range of finishing options to meet current and future printing needs."
"Today, we're delivering on that promise, along with our mission to continue reinventing the market. Using the vast knowledge we've gained through our large-scale commercial printers, we streamlined our designs, improved print speeds and enabled higher-quality printing for a lower cost."
In addition to offering the latest in HP's PageWide printing technology and HP's Smart Device Services Technology, the new printer boasts advanced security features aimed at tackling print-related data breaches.
Pointing to research conducted by Quocirca in their Managed Print Services Landscape report, 61% of organisations across the globe reported at least a single print-related data breach in the past year. HP's own estimates indicated that less than 2% of the hundreds of millions of business printers in the world are secured.
The latest printer release from HP incorporates a comprehensive suite of security features that oversees various breach points across an organisation. These include protecting devices, data and documents, as well as creating a layered security approach, which is typically utilised in dealing with advanced attacks.
