StarLink hosts 7th IT Security Roadshow
The month long roadshow will focus on threat hunting and analysis
StarLink will be hosting its annual IT Security Roadshow which will take place in nine countries across the Middle East, Turkey and Africa.
The event will see information security professionals from across various industries in the region where they will gain perspective into the latest IT security trends , as well as updates from vendor experts, including Attivo Networks, LogRhythm, LinkShadow, FireEye, Ixia, ForcePoint and VMware.
During the roadshow, key vendors, along with StarLink, will showcase how the approach of threat hunting and analysis are fundamental to tackling cyber security.
The vendors will highlight how they address the theme with deception, security intelligence, next-generation threat protection and software defined data centre security.
Nidal Othman, managing director, StarLink said: "Enterprises and government entities are exponentially increasing their cybersecurity spending in 2017 as the cyberattacks become more rampant.
"Our roadshow this year will provide visibility into the benefits of threat hunting and analysis, to assist organisations proactively identify potential attacks before they happen, and enhance incident response capabilities by combining security tools, analytics, threat intelligence and machine-learning."
The roadshow takes place from 2nd April until 2nd May, through Kuwait, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Egypt, South Africa, Turkey and UAE.
