Facebook clones Snapchat again with Stories feature
Facebook adds Stories to its News Feed, as well as private messaging feature
Facebook is at it again and for the fourth time it has copied Snapchat by launching Stories, a 24-hour photo and video feature which then disappears.
Facebook has already implemented the feature in Instagram, Messenger and most recently WhatsApp, and now the main Facebook app will include the same.
The update comes in three parts: a revamped Facebook camera, a feed of Stores above the News Feed and a private messaging feature named Direct.
Users can illustrate their photos and videos and of course ass filters and animated effects. Users can then either add it to their Facebook Stories, share on the News Feed or send as a private message. Content shared on Facebook Stories and via Direct messenger will disappear once viewed but can be replayed once.
