Android co-founder Andy Rubin has shared a sneak peak of what his company's first bezel-less smartphone.

In January Rubin announced he was starting a new company dubbed Essential which would focus on high-end smartphones featuring edge-to-edge displays. Rubin took to Twitter to share a glimpse of the smartphone, showing that Essential has fulfilled on what he had promised.

Rubin tweeted:

The image shows very little, aside from the edge-to-edge display, there is potentially a button on the side of the device and a speaker at the top, and the smartphone may run on a version of Android. However with only a photo to reference, the details are limited.
