MUSAFIR.COM launches technology centre
In addition to investing $10m in the new facility, the company reportedly aims to double the size of its technology team
Musafir.com, a travel-experience website, announced the launch of its third technology centre in Pune, India. Additionally, the company announced plans to expand the size of its technology team by the close of 2017.

The establishment of our third technology centre in Pune, reinforces our commitment to this promise. Our aim is to double the strength of our engineering team by the end of the year, and herald a new generation of innovative user experiences for our travellers."
The addition of the new facility and the plans to grow further into India marks the latest expansion by Musafir.com into its portfolio, which includes an extensive presence in the GCC. Highlighting figures that point to a burgeoning online travel market, the team at Musafir.com expect online travel to pass the $53bn mark in India and GCC by 2018.
