du launches smart home services du has opened a smart home experience centre at its Media City headquarters.

UAE telco du has launched a new Smart Home Services portfolio, to help residents to turn their homes into smart homes.

The services offering includes packages for home automation, home monitoring and IT consultancy services, which du claims will improve quality of life for smart home dwellers.

du offers a technology agnostic solution that will integrate with a range of products from various brands and partners, along with out-of-the-box services and solutions which can be tailored to the individual's requirements.

"As a progressive nation with a high youth population, UAE consumers are used to being constantly connected. We are proud today to elevate this connectivity to the home and make the Smart Home a reality for consumers today," said Fahad Al Hassawi, Chief Commercial Officer, du.

Du has also opened a Smart Home experience centre at its headquarters in Media City, where visitors can see a showcase of smart home systems. Solutions on display include controls for lighting, door sensors, automated curtains, AC and various other available appliances; home monitoring with cameras and sensors; home entertainment systems to control of audio and video equipment; and systems to monitor home networking and coverage.
