Finnish start-up IVALO has dubbed its new app the "Tinder of Fashion with the monetisation model of AirBnB".

The IVALO app bring small fashion brands together with the aim to bring individual and hard to find fashion to its users.

The app functions as a sales platform where brands can list their products and send them to the consumers from their own storage, whilst IVALO transmits orders in exchange for a commission.

The interface uses features that consumers may already be familiar with, for instance IVALO lets users swipe left and right on products, just like Tinder.

Matti Lamminsalo, founder and CEO of IVALO, said: "IVALO is a curated fashion marketplace and all the brands are handed-picked by us. You can find designers you will not see anywhere else. If you use startup lingo then IVALO is the Tinder of Fashion with the monetisation model of AirBnB."

The service will be launched globally, first with Finnish fashion brands, and during the spring over 200 upcoming top brands from around the world.
