Veeam announces launch of Service Partner Program Omar Akhtar, regional manager – Channels, Middle East & SAARC at Veeam Software.

Veeam Software, a global provider of technologies centred on the availability of Always-On Enterprise, has announced the launch of its Veeam Accredited Service Partner (VASP) program.

Comprising of select lists of partners, distributors, system integrators and freelance IT consultancies, the program gives end-users access to its entire portfolio of professional services for Veeam product implementations.

Utilising a search engine found on Veeam’s website, end-users will be able to identify and contact the closest VASP participating company that suits their needs.

Omar Akhtar, regional manager – Channels, Middle East & SAARC at Veeam Software, commented: “The relationship between a customer and its IT vendors is evolving. With more customers looking for vendors to recommend experienced professional service partners that can help the internal team maximize ROI and create bespoke solutions for ever-more sophisticated IT estates.”

He added: “The benefit of us launching VASP is two-fold: it helps answer customer’s needs, while providing our partners with new revenue opportunities. With the launch of VASP today, we’re offering partners extra support from senior Veeam resources, NFR licenses and intellectual property that will enable them to differentiate and add significant value to customers, while helping partners become more profitable from Veeam solutions.”

VASP will be featured under the Veeam ProPartner Program, which to date boasts over 45,000 members from across the world.

To acquire VASP accreditation, participating companies need succeed on Veeam certifications and hold an extensive history of successful implementations of Veeam products.
