LG forecasts high demand for premium products in MEA LG displayed its LG SIGNATURE line-up with the LG SIGNATURE OLED TV

LG Electronics showed it is cementing its strategic focus on premium products by showcasing its range at InnoFest 2017 in Barcelona.

LG participating at Innofest 2017 with the aim to represent a platform for reiterating LG's position within the consumer electronics and appliance industries.

Kevin Cha, president, LG Electronics Middle East & Africa, said: "2017 will see LG Electronics pursuing an innovative, energy efficient and a premium product market strategy, positioning the company as a technology innovator with a flair for convenience, design and style."

At Innofest 2017, LG displayed its LG SIGNATURE line-up with the LG SIGNATURE OLED TV, LG SIGNATURE Refrigerator, the LG SIGNATURE TWINWash washing machine and the LG SIGNATURE Air Purifier.

The company also exhibited its intelligent robots, which is part of LG's development in artificial intelligence and the IoT ecosystem, this included a home robot that doubles as a smart home gateway and intelligence home notification centre.

LG has also factored in the extreme climate conditions of the Gulf with its air conditioning solutions which include Inverter Technology. LG Inverter Technology can control rotation frequency to produce cooling more efficiently and has also been certified by TUV.

Furthermore, LG's premium product strategy will witness a boost with the introduction of these premium products across key markets in MEA in 2017.
