FireEye appoints VP for EMEA region
Kevin Taylor previously held roles at Symantec and Hewlett Packard
FireEye has announced it has hired Kevin Taylor as vice president to oversee its business operations and sales across the Europe, the Middle East and Africa region.
Taylor previously held global and regional sales leadership and general management roles at Symantec and Hewlett Packard, and most recently he was the chief executive officer of Storm Technologies.
Bill Robbins, executive vice president of worldwide sales at FireEye, said: "Taylor brings a breadth of sales and management experience and an understanding of the cybersecurity industry to FireEye. I have every confidence Taylor will match the energy, passion and drive I've seen across our EMEA team."
Taylor added: "Organisations across EMEA are increasingly challenged to keep up with the pace and sophistication of cyber threats, as well as an unmanageable volume of alerts from existing security solutions. With our threat intelligence and recent innovations such as the new Helix platform, I believe FireEye is well positioned to transform security operations and lower security cost of ownership for organisations of all sizes across the region."
Taylor will report to Robbins.
