System integrator Alpha Data has implemented its cloud model for the region's multicultural festival park, Global Village.

Alpha Data has provided its Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) model for hosting the Global Village portal on Alpha Cloud, a service that enables adopters to scale on demand, optimise for price and enjoy high levels of performance and business continuity.

Furthermore, the integrator also met Global Village's compliance requirements as an ISO 27001-certified organisation; ISO 27001 is the global standard for Information Security Management.

Murugesan Vaithilingam, services director at Alpha Data, said: "Global Village is one of the biggest destinations of its kind, so we focused on developing a world-class hosted environment that could seamlessly support its ticketing transactions and bring added convenience to its customers. We were able to deliver a quick turnaround time and fully comply with Global Village's requirements.

"This project is reflective of the growing popularity of our Alpha Cloud services and the strong trust in Alpha Data's systems integration capabilities. It was also very fulfilling for us to help enhance the operations of such an iconic tourist destination with true essence of cloud capabilities with elasticity on demand and pay as you grow model," he concluded.
