Technology vendor LG Electronics (LG), has opened a new office facility in Abu Dhabi, the UAE's capital city.

The vendor said the new LG office facility opening aims to enhance both business-to-business and business-to-consumer operations for LG in the country.

The official office inauguration and ribbon cutting ceremony was attended by president of LG MEA, Kevin Cha and president of LG Gulf, Yong Geun Choi.

Choi said: "At LG, a top priority is to continuously connect and engage with our customers and business partners by being available to them and by providing them with the best in innovative and premium technology solutions, and we have always been committed to seeking and leveraging opportunities which allow us to expand horizons and nurture a win-win relationship."

He added that the new office in Abu Dhabi comes at an opportune time as the company reinforces ties with key stakeholders and strongly position itself to continue expanding throughout the region.

LG said it harbours long-term plans to further solidify its foothold in the region by increasing availability of and access to the brand's premium products across various business units, including home entertainment and home appliances for consumers and through its business-to-business solutions.
