Cybersecurity solutions provider Fortinet, has announced the availability of its new cloud security service, FortiCare 360°.

The services offers enterprise and service provider IT resources with monthly automated Security Fabric performance audits and security appliance health assessments, plus Fortinet security engineers. FortiCare 360° analyses FortiGate and FortiWiFi appliance health to identify opportunities for optimisation and highlight potential issues for rapid resolution.

John Maddison, senior vice president of products and solutions, Fortinet, said: "Misconfigured, suboptimised, and unpatched security components are the number one cause of security incidents reported globally, according to Verizon's 2016 Data Breach Investigations Report.

"Unfortunately, the critical process to consistently evaluate and optimise an enterprise's various security elements can be extremely time and resource intensive. Our FortiCare 360° cloud services solve these challenges - leveraging Fortinet's Security Fabric to reinforce enterprise IT teams with proactive security device assessments, complete with actionable recommendations from Fortinet security engineers."

The service also offers FortiCare 24x7 support, which provides technical support and rapid hardware replacement if the hardware fails. Plus it helps customers design, implement and operate their Security Fabric infrastructure.
