Al Masah Capital Management inks agreement with Finesse
The enterprise technology specialist will aid Al Masah Capital Management’s transition to the Cloud.
Finesse has announced that it has entered into an infrastructure as a service agreement with Al Masah Capital Management.
The Dubai-based alternative investment management firm contracted Finesse to facilitate its transition to the Cloud.
Al Masah Capital Management's previous legacy data centre and associated disaster recovery sites, which was utilised for more than five years, will now be transformed by Finesse. The IT systems integrator will deploy offerings from IBM Cloud Solutions to the new data centres and disaster recovery sites.
Ashith Piriyattiah, the group head for IT at Al Masah Capital Management Limited said, "The transformation of our data centre and disaster recovery sites onto cloud has been achieved with extreme cost efficiency and effective use of resource skill set with multiple layers of data security."
He added: "We at Al Masah Capital Management Limited are very thrilled at our partnership with Finesse and their engagement from the beginning of discussions to completion of the project. The Finesse team has been very responsive at identifying the areas of challenges and suggesting the appropriate solution, working efficiently within the parameters set by us."
Anand Lakhwani, practice head- Infra Services at Finesse said, "Companies running without Disaster Recovery face a risky situation in a case of Data Centre failure. With the current growth within Al Masah Capital Management Limited, it was a better approach to go with a highly scalable solution on cloud rather than refreshing the existing hardware and blocking the capex. Finesse has enabled the end to end journey to ensure Al Masah Capital Management Limited's migration onto IBM Cloud."
