Meltwater inks partnership with Media Observer

The partnerships enables Meltwater to introduce print analysis as part of its Big Data offering in the Middle East

Meltwater inks partnership with Media Observer Zubair Timol, partner & Area Director for India, Middle East & Africa, Meltwater.

Meltwater, a global media intelligence firm, recently announced a new partnership with Media Observer that introduces both print and broadcast news analysis to Meltwater's existing digital and online monitoring services.

The addition of print analysis into Metlwater's platform, which is immediately available, gives users tools to search and analyse up to five years of print data for any keywords. Meanwhile, broadcast media analysis is scheduled to live from January 2017.

Zubair Timol, partner & Area Director for India, Middle East & Africa, Meltwater, comments: "Today's messaging campaigns are data driven and social, but we cannot ignore the importance of information disseminated by print and broadcast media.

"Every organisation has to ensure they are adequately capturing all of their marketing and public relations efforts, therefore we are now extending our services to include print media analysis, followed by broadcast. What we are offering is more than just news clips."

"Our platform will enable organisations to analyse up to five years of print data, using different keywords as they go along. This will aid companies in identifying marketing and consumer trends and do better competitor analysis. They can then use the information to develop comprehensive business strategy and campaigns."

Meltwater's client will now benefit from access to data published in more than 80 daily publications in MENA region. The platform also has access to Pan Arab Publications.

Furthermore, in addition to access to newspapers, the Meltwater dashboard is designed to collate periodicals, corporate newsletters, government and community publications, as well as gazettes.
