Avaya signs major  deals at GITEX 2016 The Avaya unified communication and contact centre solution will enable the Ministry to deliver on their larger vision of digital transformation.

AVAYA showcased various technologies and signed major partnerships at GITEX Technology Week 2016.

Avaya announced a partnership with the Directorate General of Civil Defence, Dubai, to boost the department's communications capabilities and increase user satisfaction with the department's Smart Communication solutions for customer service.

Avaya will deliver to the Dubai Civil Defence a solution consisting of numerous communication modes, such as voice calls and message services, instant text messaging among staff, and video calling facilities that can be used at desks, and even on laptops and on mobile phones.

In addition, the vendor also signed a MoU with the Ministry of Interior of the UAE to deploy its latest UC and contact centre solutions, which will enhance improve collaboration between departments and teams at the Ministry.

The Avaya unified communication and contact centre solution will enable the Ministry to deliver on their larger vision of digital transformation.

At GITEX, Avaya also demonstrated the application of virtual reality to create an Omnichannel, connected and automated experience for the banking industry. Augmented reality opens up new modes of interacting with dynamic content and sets the stage for interactive and real-time consumer engagement.
