Canon honours Middle East channel partners The event was attended by 170 key operational decision makers from Canon’s tier one and tier two channel partners.

Imaging solutions vendor Canon Middle East, has reinforced its commitment to both channel partners by awarding them channel awards for their business performances and innovative selling practices.

The announcement comes after the vendor held an exclusive two-day event that saw 170 key operational decision makers from Canon's tier one and tier two channel partners from across the Middle East region rediscover the power of imaging.

In the Middle East region, Emax UAE bagged the "Canon Middle East Performance Award for 2016" in the DSLR and lens category, considered as a prime business section for Canon. Carrefour UAE won the "Canon Middle East Performance Award for 2016 in the Compact Cameras and Selphy" section. Media Square from Lebanon got the award for "Pro-Imaging segment while eXtra in KSA walked away with the award for inkjet category of printers.

Canon also recognised their retailers for innovative selling practices across the Middle East region. Sharaf DG at Times Square in UAE and Sharaf DG in Bahrain won the "Canon Middle East Customer Experience and Display 2016" award. The Lulu chain of Supermarkets received the "Canon Middle East Innovative Selling Concepts 2016 award across their outlets in UAE, KSA, Oman and Qatar.

Held in Dubai, the ‘Imaging Inspired' event showcased Canon's latest and most powerful technology across cameras, printers and projectors through a series of events.
