ALE, operating under the Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise brand, has announced it is forming four regional sales divisions with the aim to serve its partners and customers better.

The company will focus on specific market segments in a bid to accelerate the shift to new business models, plus each of the four regions will have its own dedicated sales staff supporting its industry-specific sales strategy, cloud sales strategy and channel strategy, with an additional sales enablement and services delivery.

Within these four regional sales divisions, ALE focus on healthcare, education, government and transportation sectors. This approach delivers solutions, integrated with industry-specific business processes to enable new business opportunities, address growing demands for IoT enabled communications systems, and simplify the job of IT staff, while reducing costs for businesses.

Matthieu Destot, EVP of Sales & Marketing at ALE commented: "Whether public, private, hybrid, CPE-based, or cloud-based, today's organisations have a range of choices to source technology to support their digital transformation goals. ALE is building a specialised global cloud services sales organisation to help partners and customers to understand how migration to the cloud can help them improve their business outcomes."

ALE is also offering a redesigned channel program which offers specialisations, training and revenue opportunities, and also simplifying how partners do business with ALE and enabling them to tap into new revenue streams with innovative, consumption-based technologies.

Baher Izzat, regional director, Middle East at ALE, added: "Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise has been a key player in supporting businesses in the shift towards the cloud and the future of technology. By introducing our new strategy and focusing on our key industries we aim to provide a more tailored offering that better suits the needs of our customers."

ALE is also announced that Moreno Ciboldi will be leading the formation of the new go-to-market strategy for the new region Europe and South. The region covers France, Iberia, Italy, Turkey and all other South European Countries, Middle East and Africa and CALA.
