AEC builds Saudi’s ICT skills AEC is showing its expertise in sectors including ICT, industrial automation, and systems integration.

Saudi Arabia’s AEC is highlighting the strength of its expertise in sectors including ICT, industrial automation, systems integration and manufacturing at GITEX Technology Week.

The company is exhibiting its range of capabilities at the event, and has launched a number of new services and products at GITEX.

Khalid M Al-Khowaiter, President & CEO, AEC, says that the company has developed expertise in several ICT sectors, including e-government, cloud computing, cybersecurity, IoT, and smart systems, and is further increasing its areas of operations inline with its remit to develop technical capabilities and resources to further the development of the Kingdom.

Among the key areas of expansion for AEC is smart cities and related-IoT systems, where it can combine its strengths and expertise in industrial automation, systems integration and ICT. The company recently signed a partnership agreement with GE, and it is also working with major primary industries in Saudi Arabia on multiple projects.

AEC has projects for smart metering, for both electricity and water, and is developing more services in this area to include more capabilities for utilities.
