FORTINET is highlighting its “Security Without Compromise” strategy.

Alain Penel, regional vice president, Middle East says this is the strategy the company wants to share  with the market, customers and partners. “The Fortinet Security Fabric released around three months ago is based around this strategy,” says Penel. “We want to deploy our products and explain to the market how we can provide security without any compromise.”

With this strategy and the Fortinet Security Fabric, Fortinet can address end-to-end security catering to such sectors such as IoT and Smart Cities, Penel says.

Fortinet is also showcasing FortiSIEM, the company’s security information and event management (SIEM) solution which aids in rapid detection and remediation of security events. “This is now part of our Security Fabric and now we have customers in the Middle East and different parts of the world,” Penel says.

Middle East is a key market for Fortinet, says Penel, and partners customers, and now Fortinet SIEM are all part of this strategy, he adds.

“This is a natural part of Fortinet and our strategy and where we want to go.”

Fortinet’s major verticals in the region include government, finance, service providers and oils & gas. “We continue to sell our firewall products with FortiGate and now we are moving into ATP with FortiSandbox with big demand in this market,” Penel says.
“Compared to one year ago, we are doing a lot in the market with a lot of traction in the region,” Penel concludes.
