Visitors embrace the smart city experience at GITEX
Samsung displayed a range of smart city elements at GITEX Technology Week.
Samsung displayed a range of smart city elements, including virtual reality (VR), cyber-security, facilities management logistics and retail at GITEX Technology Week.
Visitors were given the chance to experience a virtual tour of Dubai through a VR simulator using Samsung’s Gear VR, capturing familiar landmarks, the Arabian Desert and Dubai Metro. As well as showcasing wearables’ solutions for facilities management, including the Gear S3, Samsung presented its mobile wallet, Samsung Pay and defence grade platform, Samsung KNOX.
For organisations which need more control over the management and security aspects of mobile devices, Samsung exhibited its KNOX Workspace and demonstrated how it provides security and management capabilities for mobile devices.
