Dubai Health Authority has announced the launch of its self-registration system for SAADA health insurance scheme for nationals in Dubai.
The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) has announced the launch of its self-registration system for SAADA health insurance scheme for nationals in Dubai.
The DHA, whcho dubs the scheme as “one of the smartest insurance schemes in the world”, revealed that during phase one of the rollout, nationals can self-register with their Emirates ID and then download the SAADA app which will inform them where the nearest kiosk is.
The service includes a ‘rate your experience’ feature, and the function for users to provide members with details of their policy and benefits, plus insurance limits, and a detailed list of providers.
Dr Haidar Al Yousuf, director of Health Funding at DHA, said: “There is a number of different services that DHA is presenting at GITEX, and one is the launch of the smart application, SAADA. Ultimately what we aim for is for Dubai to have the best health systems in the world and you can only do this by understanding and continuously developing the quality of service we desire. Trying to be the best is not an easy target, and we take it very seriously by understanding customer feedback and ensuring that the system is accessible to people and they can reach services as soon as possible in a convenient way. That is our key objective.”
