Huawei honor doubles sales at GITEX Shopper 2016 The Sapphire Blue honor 8 proved to be a crowd puller at GITEX Shopper.

Huawei honor, the smartphone e-brand from Huawei, registered 100% increase in sales with its latest flagship the honor 8 during GITEX Shopper 2016, the company says.

The honor 8 combines aesthetic appeal featuring 15-layer exterior; a 12 MP dual camera with one RGB and one monochrome sensor as well as the Smart Key that allows users to access in a single click Instagram & Double-Click Twitter; at a price of only AED 1,599. Honor 8 is available in gold, black, white and the popular Sapphire blue, which drove 70% of the honor 8 sales at GITEX.

“GITEX Shopper has always been a great platform and launchpad for key products in the consumer electronics industry in the region. Smartphones were the most popular products at the show this year and we received a great response for Huawei honor 8 among the customers. We expect the trend to continue over the next few months as gadgets are always a great draw for shoppers during festive seasons,” said Nadeem Khanzadah, head, OmniChannel Retail, Jumbo Group.
