After Samsung announced it had killed off the Galaxy Note7, it has since shipped thermally insulated packages and safety gloves for customers to send the device back.

The XDA Developers forum documented Samsung's return kit, and showed that it included fireproof packaging, made out of ceramic paper, and gloves, which should be capable of handling extreme heat.

Samsung also included packing instructions, which also stated that the device should not be send via air, only ground and sea.

The South Korean tech giant revealed yesterday it had ended sales and production on its Galaxy Note7 after it failed to resolve on-going battery issues.
