Accenture has extended its partnership with GITEX Technology Week, returning as ‘Exclusive Digital Transformation Partner' in 2016.

This year's association entails the launch of the ‘Accenture Technology Vision 2016 report', which provides insight into the region's technology trends.  In addition, Accenture digital group chief executive, Mike Sutcliff, will headline the Grand Keynote session on the opening day of GITEX.

Omar Boulos, regional managing director of Accenture in the Middle East and North Africa, said: "Accenture is proud to be the exclusive digital transformation partner of GITEX Technology Week. The digital space is evolving at a rapid pace, and organisations need to understand how they can best leverage digital technologies to support their organizations. Accenture will be sharing global and regional best practices and insights into how to harness the power of digital, particularly smart technologies that have the ability to transform how each and every one of us lives and works."

Tony Karam, managing director of Accenture Digital in the Middle East and North Africa, said: "The UAE, in particular, is rife with opportunities for the adoption of the smart technologies that are transforming our world, leading us into a future that we could have only imagined a decade back. With ‘reimagining realities' as the core theme of this year's GITEX, we look forward to sharing our vision of the future with delegates throughout the event."

Throughout the show, Accenture will participate in several industry sessions, demonstrating its capabilities. These include Marketing Monday on October 17, Finance Tuesday on October 18, and Retail Wednesday on October 19.
