Mimecast unveils expansion plans in the Middle East
Mimecast appoints two security focused distributors in Dubai
Mimecast has announced its plans to expand in Dubai with two security focused distributors to accelerate growth and customer experience in the region.
The expansion comes as the business continues to grow as well as the strong demand for its cloud security solutions in the Middle East.
Brandon Bekker, managing director, Mimecast MEA, said: "Over the last few years, Mimecast has seen a significant revenue growth and a strong demand for our cloud security solutions in the Middle East. Hence, expanding our operations made perfect strategic sense as we already have a robust customer base in the region.
"We are pleased to launch our new office in Dubai, which will act as our regional hub and help us scale up our operations and strengthen our ties with our existing customers and partners by offering them high-quality technical support and consulting services locally."
Mimecast's local office will enable to company to serve the needs of its growing Middle East customer base, as well as invest in new talent. The company has recruited a team to drive sales and offer on ground technical support and services, and will also plan and invest in training programs for channel partners. Mimecast also supports partners with educational tools, sales enablement training and marketing support.
"Customer experience is incredibly important to Mimecast and we support our customers and channel partners in a number of ways. Using a follow-the-sun model, Mimecast offers customer 24/7 support on a multitude of platforms. Dedicated customer management teams in the region will ensure that customers receive free product education, technical and account support and are measured with regular customer surveys against a Customer Experience Index score target," Bekker concluded.
