Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) has switched to electronic issuance of business operation documents.

In line with smart city goals, DIFC is now providing authorised documentation for a variety of services through its e-services portal. The move is intended to improve efficiency and eliminate paperwork.

The newly launched service allows authorized DIFC portal users to access official letters including no-objection certificates to set up a company, certificates of incumbency; no-objection certificates for temporary work permits and liquor licenses, and employment confirmation letters among many others. Certificates can now be printed directly from the DIFC website, eliminating the need to physically collect them at the counters.

To ensure strict security measures are in place, each printed document will be marked with a unique code to verify its authenticity and validity through the DIFC website.
