Business communications solutions vendor, Avaya has revealed that it is participating at GITEX Technology Week 2016 to showcase its latest innovations that are designed to enable companies to meet customer and employee expectations with true multi-touch communication capabilities.

Along with customers and partners, Avaya will demonstrate real-world use cases for its cutting-edge solutions, highlighting how it is helping organisations in the Middle East and beyond achieve their digital transformation objectives.

The vendor said with 89% of businesses today expecting to compete primarily on the basis of customer experience, organisations need to evolve digitally and deliver truly differentiated experiences to their customers and workforces.

However, IT departments are struggling to keep pace and by the end of 2017, market demand for mobile apps will grow five times faster than internal IT organisations can deliver them, according to Gartner Inc. Companies need to be able to drive digital transformation initiatives and react to changing demand at customer speed.

Speed is the new currency for business transformation - businesses need to understand, predict and map the customer journey in real time," said Mohammed Areff, vice president, Middle East, Africa and Turkey, Avaya.

Areff added that GITEX is the perfect platform for Avaya to demonstrate its ability to collect information and unleash its full potential. "We are very excited to participate yet again in this important event," he said.

According to Avaya, it will utilise the GITEX platform to demonstrate cutting-edge solutions that create amazing experiences for both customers and employees, helping businesses to compete more effectively in today's rapidly changing environment.

The company said it will also highlight its latest products at GITEX, including Avaya Breeze, the next generation of the Avaya Engagement Development Platform, Avaya Oceana; an extensible, software based solution for true multi-touch customer engagement, built on the Avaya Breeze platform and Zang, an innovative cloud communications platform and communication application-as-a-service that revolutionises the way businesses can use communications to connect with customers and employees.
