DEWA renews project management credentials DEWA is able to train its staff in PMI's project manager certifications.

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has renewed its certification from the Project Management Institute, to be a registered PMP educational provider.

DEWA certified as a registered educational provider for PMP in 2012, to train its employees in the Project Management Professional (PMP) qualification.

By training its own employees to a recognized professional standard, DEWA is able to achieve savings on training budgets. The achievement enables DEWA to customize Project Management trainings as per PMI Standards and DEWA requirements and with less dependency on external training providers. DEWA will also receive all publications released by PMI.

DEWA personnel are able to take training in the categories of Project Management Professional (PMP), Program Management Professional (PgMP), Portfolio Management Professional (PfMP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), PMI Professional in Business Analysis, PMI's Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP), and Projects Planning and Scheduling Standards (PSP).
