The Dubai Airport Freezone Authority (DAFZA) has announced its participation at the Automechanika Frankfurt show in Germany, which is set to run from the 13 - 17 September, 2016.

The Dubai-based freezone authority will look to build industrial partnerships with both German enterprises and potential investors during the show. DAFZA will set its sights on building closer trade cooperation, forming business leads, as well as sharing opportunities with German businesses.

Serving as Germany's largest trade partner in the GCC region, the ongoing efforts between both nations will help in reinforcing bilateral ties between both economies. DAFZA is expected to emphasise the UAE's attractiveness in terms of its ongoing economic diversification, as well as its transformation towards being a strong technological and knowledge-based economy.

DAFZA will also showcase how German businesses and investors can benefit from the Dubai Plan 2021's objective to position the emirate as a global centre for various industries and sectors. The freezone authority is expected to organise a series of seminars in Germany to highlight the various possibilities.

Additionally, DAFZA will look to leverage Automechanika Frankfurt's success as a global platform for both business and technological knowledge.

DAFZA currently hosts a huge number of automotive companies involved in automobile industry. These include German automobile brands, such as Volks Wagon and Audi, as well as other global brands including Bentley, Toyota and Tata Motors.
