SCCI rolls out new business intelligence solution
BI system will improve analytics and reports for Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry
Sharjah Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCI) has launched a new business intelligence system to support decision making, report publishing and improve the availability of business information.
The BI solution will be utilised to transform existing data held in paper into digital formats, helping with processing and storage and increasing access to the data. This will enable advanced, smart reporting, to provide comprehensive analysis of data and measurement according to performance indicators.
The application will also enhance availability of information for businesses and decision makers from across all sectors.
His Excellency Khalid bin Butti Al Hajri, director general of SCCI said: “SCCI’s launch for its Business Intelligence System comes in parallel with other various initiatives and projects the chamber has been working on to support full digital transformation of all its operations. The mentioned system reflects the chamber's commitment in pursuing know-how strategically operational decisions and providing credible levels of information and data bases, to build precise and transparent financial and non-financial indicators for decision makers from the Emirate of Sharjah's vast economic sectors.”
Al Hajri said that the project represents a move to digital processes for collecting and preparing data from various sources, in order for the data to to be analyzed and transformed into digital format, and then shared with different business analysts in visual and interactive graphic formats.
