Ericsson appoints Ali Eid as head of Ericsson KSA, Jordan and Palestine
Ali Eid's current position as Head of Customer Unit for Ericsson KSA will now encompass the same responsibilities in Jordan and Palestine
Ericsson has announced the promotion of Ali Eid as the head of Customer unit for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Palestine within the Ericsson region Middle East and East Africa.
Eid joined Ericsson KSA in 1988 and in 2000 he accepted the position as key account manager of Jawwal at Ericsson. Thereafter in 2008, he was promoted to CU head to overlook the business for the Paltel Group and Wataniya, which is part of the Qtel global customer account. Since 2010, Eid has been the head of Ericsson KSA.
Rafiah Ibrahim, head of Ericsson Region Middle East and Africa said: "Today's appointments of the new leaders will enable us to continue adding value to our customers and drive their transformation agenda."
Eid added: "I am eager to expand successful strategies that I've implemented in Saudi Arabia to Jordan and Palestine and to improve upon them in the days to come. KSA as a leading mobile communication market is normally influencing the evolution in many countries in the Middle East.
"Having Jordan and Palestine in the same customer unit will extend this influence to these markets. In line with Ericsson's strides towards evolution into the Networked Society, I look forward to stimulating growth and fostering innovation wherever I can."
