Orange announces acquisition of Log’in Consultants

Orange Business Services recently acquired Log'in Consultants, a desktop virtualisation integration service provider.

Founded in 2002 and a subsidiary of the Log'in International group, Log'in comprises of three separate entities based in Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands.

The acquisition of Log'in introduces virtual desktop infrastructure capabilities and infrastructure management services to Orange's portfolio of ICT solutions.

Adding to its existing capabilities in managing VDI platforms, the acquisition bring 135 of Long'in's experts into the fold and improves the capabilities of the Orange's desktop virtualisation projects in Europe.

Thierry Bonhomme, CEO of Orange Business Services, said: "Desktop virtualization is a key component of business transformation. It delivers agility, productivity and performance by fundamentally changing the day-to-day life of company employees.

"It was essential for us to strengthen our teams and our integration capabilities in this field. We are now able to meet the growing demands of our European multinational customers."

Orange Business Services, a subsidiary of Neocles Corporate, today maintains an asset base of around 150,000 desktops and a global workforce numbering 20,000.
