Network ME Security Survey 2016 now open!
Comprehensive study to examine state of the regional security landscape
The Network Middle East Security Survey returns with the 2016 edition.
The motivation behind the survey, like in years past, is to establish the state of the security industry in the Gulf region, regarding policies, user behaviour and threat perception.
The threat from cybercrime has never been this dire. Cybercrime has in the past few years evolved into a highly-organised, well-funded global enterprise that puts organisations, both public and private, at grave risk. The endless wave of news reports on the latest corporation under attack is a constant reminder of how vulnerable we all are. Further, rapid technology changes have brought with them renewed challenges to bear on network and security managers. Cloud especially means the traditionally perimeter has all but been eliminated, with the network’s edge now in a remote data centre thousands of miles away.
We have increasingly focused on security threats here at Network ME as these threats proliferate as part of our general reportage and this survey hopes to take this discussion further.
Ultimately, we hope the study will reveal the regional cyber security landscape and the industry can learn from one another the best practices to protect networks from the myriad threats that organisations face today.
The results of the survey will be revealed during the October bumper issue of Network Middle east.
The Survey closes on the 5th of September 2016.
